Welcome to the world of black and white film photography! Black and white film, when it comes to development, is vastly different color. Different developers, agitation methods, developer dilutions, and temperatures affect the final outcome. To get started and to get great understanding of this craft, I suggest a few books: The Art of Black and White Photography and The Art of Black and White Developing by John Finch are great reference books.

That's awesome, Ryan. I just picked up a Minolta X-700 and 3 rolls of Ilford HP5 Plus 400 to shoot. I'm excited to try film photography now too. As always, I enjoy seeing your work man 🙌💪🏻
